Meet Cookie & Shopping

This will be my last post of our 4 legged friends. This is Cookie who lives with Kathleen and Bob Gomez. After some years of running with wild dogs in the desert she was rescued and eventually came to live with them. Cookie loves to come to Happy Hour's to have her belly rubbed by everyone. She spent the day with us yesterday, Dave/Linda Cypcar are doggy sitting while her parents went to see family in OR and Linda's brother is at Padre Island for a week. They went to see them, so we did the doggy walks and pooper scooper (Larry's) jobs. See what I mean, loves her tummy rubbed.

Today Danielle Mayer and I went shopping for a love seat. It's not easy trying to find furniture for a trailer, especially when you haven't even seen it yet. Jack/Danielle purchased a New Horizon and Jack is currently up in Kansas getting it. There's been a few gliches that needed to be taken care of but hopefully he will be back soon. Anyway Danielle has swatches of the window treatment so that helps finding the right color and she knows what style she wants, it's just trying to find a normal size. It seems around here everyone has super size furniture in their homes. But we did find a couple that are really nice and should look good.

Now a little sad news about one of our 4-legged friends. Molly who was the first one I posted about had to be put down today. The last couple of weeks she's really gotten worse and this weekend she couldn't even stand. So today Dave and Linda took her to the vets. She'll be missed.
I guess that's it for now. Weather has turned nasty with cold nights (40's) and cloudy cold days (50's). I think we're suppose to have this until the end of the week. Ugh!! I want my 90's. Till next time......................
