Rain Rain go away

It started raining last night and around 5am the clouds really opened up and it poured most of the morning. Not sure how much we got. That's the one thing about this area, the weather report on the local news stations are next to nothing. Back in Michigan most of the news starts out with the weather report and gives everything in great detail. Here's it's like a filler of the news report and basically gives the highs and lows of the next week. Anyway here's a picture from our back window of the place behind us. Luckily our streets here have great drainage so we don't have standing water on the streets or lots.
This afternoon we had Happy Hour up at the clubhouse. It was a combination birthday party for Sheri Rhodes who as she said can officially get the senior coffee at McDonalds and a "see you down the road" going away party for Phil and Kathy Detweiler. They are leaving on Saturday for a job in PA. I forgot my camera but you have seen many pictures of our HDT group.

Last night we went out to dinner with Donna & Grant to BJ's Sports Grill. Very nice place and I'm sure it's hopping on game days with the all the big TV's all around.

Guess that's it for today. Looks like we have one more day of clouds and rain than we get some sun. Can't wait!! Till next time..................................
