New Eating place & Park walk about

This morning several of us decided to go try a new place out for breakfast. The place is call Alejandro's and it's only a few miles away. Others have tried the dinner menu and said it was good. When we arrived shortly after 8am there wasn't a sole in the place. The restaurant is very nice inside but it lacks seating for more than four people at a table.

That's us in the background. I took pictures of the group but the sun was coming in just right and the photo's didn't turn out very good. Except for this one.
Marilynn was lucky as she was sticking her tongue out but I wasn't fast enough.

Here's the guys table
Here's the ladies

Other than a little mix up on one of the orders the food was good. The Breakfast Special was 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, sausage bacon or ham, and toast for $2.75. Sometime we'll have to try their dinner, the menu had mexican, american, and sea food.
This is the patio.
Looks like a nice place to have dinner on a warm evening and there's the larger tables.

While standing outside after returning home I saw this group coming down our street.
Grant, Wendy and Lucie out for their daily constitutional. Not sure who is actually leading but they seem to have worked it out. Actually if you look poor little Lucie the cat is getting the short end of the stick.

We had the 3rd annual Village Walk-about this afternoon. Once a year anyone wanting to open their carriage houses and homes to the public could. The developer furnishes popcorn, hot dogs and pop up on the patio for everyone. The turn out was great and hopefully it helps with a few sales. The sales here in the park this season has been really good, last I new there was 20 lots sold. For the way the economy is that's pretty darn good.

That's about it for today. Welcome newbies from Houston TX and Harrisburg PA who I'm sure are Kathy and Phil Detweiler. And thanks to a regular reader in Mt Pleasant MI.

Till next time............................................
