Lights on the RiverWalk

After a short nap/rest time from all our walking to the Alamo and Museum we went down to the Hotel Lounge to get our free drinks. When we arrived on Wednesday our rooms weren't ready even tho it was a half hour pass the check in time. The desk clerk said it would be awhile as they were running behind, so I suggested that since we have to wait it would be a nice gesture to comp us a free drink in the lounge. My "friends" kind of wondered away during this conversation but none of them turned down the drink when it came time. After our drinks we headed for the RiverWalk and purchased our tickets for the boat tour. It was pretty chilly that night but it just made it feel a little more like Xmas. Our boat tour was great, enjoyed seeing all the lights and buildings decorated and our guide was fun to listen too. I wish we had time to do the daytime tour and see more of the sites down on the river. Guess that just means another trip sometime in the future. Below are a few of the pictures taken.

I can't remember what building this was but sure was pretty.
Below is the River Center Mall

The tour guide said it takes two months to get all the lights up.

If you weren't in the Christmas spirit before taking this ride you sure were when we finished. All the lights and people were amazing. Tomorrow's blog will be pictures of the six of us in different locations. See you than.
