Frost in RGV

OK, this will be just a quick post between the San Antonio ones. Friday the weatherman kept talking about a freeze warning for that night. So far since we've been back down here they have been running about 90% wrong. Well they hit the button this time. Here's some pictures of our car and the lot across the street.

Luckily the sun was out and it did warm up to the 50's.

Unfortunately yesterday was also a bad day for one of our neighbors. We were all up at the clubhouse around 9am and realized one of the trailers was on fire. The good news- Bob and Kathleen and their little dog Cookie are fine and safe. But the motor home is pretty much a loss. One of the nice things about being in a community like this is the support and help a person receives at a time like this. Many homes, trailers, motor homes were offered to Bob & Kathleen, washers/dryers were running to help get them some clean clothes and just the basic essentials were brought over. They have some ruff days ahead but lots of friends to help them.
