We decided it would be the perfect night to have a fire during happy hour. So Larry pulled out my $10 fire pit and Donna brought over some wood. We sat here until after dark just talking and watching the flames. These two couples are our neighbors and we have a good time talking with them. From left to right - Grant, Larry, Jutta, Doug and Donna. Grant/Donna have been full timing for 17 yrs. Doug/Jutta have been on the road for just a few years. They will be leaving Monday for Germany to spend the holidays with her family.
Meet Lucy. She belongs to Donna/Grant (along with Wendy). Lucy is just over a year old and always seems to get herself into situations. I think she's already used five of her nine lives.
Larry and I really enjoy our neighbor's dog Wendy. She loves to come over for happy hour as she always gets Larry to take her inside to get a treat.
Thought you would like to see the yards behind our place. I'm standing in our yard behind the rig. The workers here are finishing Grand/Donna's carriage house.
Here's looking the other way. After the freeze a couple of weeks ago everything turned brown. It's just starting to green up again.
