Saturday we had a pot luck for some friends that are leaving. You could tell that the weather here is cold with the number of hot dishes instead of salads. I think there were four different kinds of potato's, but they were all good. So we said our good-byes to Ann and Gene, they rented one of the lots here for a week and Doug & Ute fly back to Delaware tomorrow. Larry picked Bill and Kathy up at the airport just in time to join the group. They spent the last couple of weeks with family in Windsor.
Sunday we didn't do much. Larry wasn't feeling the greatest. There is so much flu (nope not the piggy flu) and colds going around the park it's unreal. So while he stayed inside and napped all day I went for walks and bike rides.
The farmers are burning the sugar cane so there's always a hint of smoke in the air. Early yesterday I spotted a bunch of equipment going down the road and Larry climbed up on the roof to take a picture for me. He was to late to get the combines but here's one of the tractor and wagon. There was probably a dozen of each going pass here, kind of neat watching them. The combines were so small compared to the one my brother has, looked like a baby combine. But here's a picture of the tractor/wagon from our roof.
