Bentsen State Park

Today we went out to breakfast with friends. We hadn't been to one of our favorite cafe for breakfast yet so several decided to go. I love sausage gravy & biscuits ($2.85) but never fix them at home since Larry doesn't care for it. I think I was the odd ball as most got the $2.99 special of 2-eggs, bacon, hash browns & toast. The place was packed so it took awhile but we're retired we have lots of time.

After we got home we decided we needed to get rid of breakfast so went for a bike ride in the State Park. Here's some pictures:

This shows you the road for riding. No vehicles are allowed.

There are benches in this area for the bird people to sit and watch
There's lots of Javalina's in the park. Was hoping to see the new babies but they must of been hiding. Also would of liked to see the bobcat but no luck.
We decided to leave the bikes and take a walk to the Hawk TowerIt's a nice trail to the tower which isn't too far off the main drive.
Here's Larry going up the tower.
View from the top.
Your looking at Mexico in the back ground.
So that's it for today. After we left the park we road through the RV Park next to us.
We road just over five miles, decided we are way out of shape. Till next time..............
