Our Anissa the Cheerleader

Thursday night we went to watch Anissa (gr-daughter) cheer at her schools first football game.
Anissa's the one holding the card with the L
Here she is holding another card
The Cheerleaders are doing something different now. Seems when ever the team makes a touch down the girls have to do that many push ups. We didn't stay for the whole game but when we left they were ahead by 24 points.
Bet they hope for low scoring wins

This morning I met up with my old boss Dale at our favorite coffee place. We can usually spend at least a hour sitting outside the cafe drinking coffee and getting caught up on things. I worked with Dale for almost 20 years so we both have watched each others kids grow up and enjoy talking about current and pass events.

After I got home Larry and I went for our daily walk. I wanted to walk in a different area as we've pretty much seen every street and alley on this side of the bridge several times. So we drove the car on the other side of town and parked it than walked on some of the streets in that area. It makes it more enjoyable (and you walk farther) when you can look at different houses and critique them. He looks at boring things like roofs, foundations and I look at the important things the big picture windows and huge front porches. It's also gotten so that we can tell a house that's in foreclosure before we get to them just by looking at how the lawns are kept.

So that's pretty much it for this week. The weather has been nice and even got down in the 40's (not liking that) one night. But their talking back up to 90 by Sunday, hopefully the humidity stays down. Till next time.................................
