Meet the other Moores.
This is Dawn, David and Sydney our niece/nephew/great-niece. Dawn works for Merrill Lynch in Lansing, David is a self employed contractor and Sydney is finishing up kindergarten. We really enjoy spending time in their back yard and are lucky that they put up with their trailer trash relatives. Little Sydney comes every morning to give us a hug before going off to school and every evening for a good night hug.
OK, so I learned something this weekend. Great idea's turn into work that turns into aching muscles. Dawn and I were talking about replanting a area on the side of their house with plants and flowers. Than it was stretched to all along the front of the house. So Sunday the cleaning out began than David sprayed round-up. This will take a few days before we can rota-til that area but in the mean time I took the weed-wacker around the trees and bushes. Did I mention they have a huge yard with lots of trees and bushes. But it was a perfect day for working outside and it felt good (at the time) to get some exercise. That night was a different thing but the aspirin helped.
Larry purchased a remote control for the Honda generator and worked on installing that. Everything worked good until he started blowing fuses when he tried to start it with the remote. So a call to the manufacture on Monday was made. He wasn't impressed with the person he talked with and is still waiting for a call back (this is Tuesday).
Monday I got the back yard mowed and did laundry. With using the washer in the trailer it only takes about four pair of jeans and a couple of sweat shirts and it's a full load.
Guess that's it for today. Welcome - Cropsey IL, Laguna Woods CA, Chico CA, Paw Paw MI, Ottawa Canada. Till next time.............................
