St Patricks Day at Retama

Well two days of prepping all for a 1/2 hour of eating. Doesn't that sound familiar. Donna and Grant were the organizers of the dinner for the second year and they did a wonderful job. Lots of helpers as you can see some of them in the picture below.
Once the prepping was done it was time to set the clubhouse up for the sit down dinner for 94 people. Since our clubhouse isn't like other ones that have one big room for seating we have to use every square space. Thanks to the guys they found enough room for everyone and even had paths for us servers to get to the tables.
We even had a parade.
Everyone enjoys being young at heart again.

Social hour followed the parade and everyone gathered up on the patio with their favorite beverage for snacks and conversation. Sorry didn't get any pictures of that.

The servers did a great job of getting the food to the tables within a short time so everything was good and hot.
I will be posting more pictures on our Web-shot page if you would like to see them.

The weather was perfect for our day. After dinner many of the residents moved back out on the patio to spend a quiet evening of conversation.

Hope everyone had a good day. Till next time.................................
