Introducting the Goodman's

We first met Dick and Helen shortly after we purchased our lot in Retama. Like so many new friends we've meant they are a special couple that we really enjoy spending time with.

They spend their winters here in the RGV and have been for several years. Summers are spent in Hartsel CO at their sticks and bricks home. Talk about a change in climate, they go from 100ft above sea level to 9,000 ft in CO. I understand that their home is pretty much on the side of a mountain and they have to have water hauled in.

After Dicks retirement of a self employed contractor and Helen raising their three sons they have been enjoying their days whether it's sitting outside in the warm sun or traveling in their little travel trailer around the country. Even after 55 years together you can tell these two really enjoy being together. Helen loves to giggle and Dick just sets back and shakes his head.
